1. What is grant writing?
Grant writing is the process of creating and submitting a formal proposal to request funding from a donor—such as a government agency, foundation, or private organization. It includes identifying the right funding opportunities, making sure your project aligns with the funder's goals, crafting a persuasive narrative, preparing a detailed and realistic budget, and organizing.
2. What is your experience in writing grants proposals?
I bring over 20 years of experience in grant writing and fundraising strategy. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully facilitated the approval of more than $1 million in grant funding across a wide range of sectors and project types.
My clients span the Philippines, the United States, and Australia, and I specialize in proposals for grantmaking foundations, nonprofit initiatives, and business capital ventures. Whether it’s community development, disability inclusion, social enterprises, or start-up funding, I deliver clear, compelling proposals that speak directly to funders' priorities.
3. What if I am from another county, are grant proposals the same across countries?
Yes, in most cases, grant proposals follow a standard structure. Regardless of the country, the core elements remain consistent. The differences usually lie in format and length requirements, currency and budget formatting, required attachments (e.g., tax status, registrations).
4. How much does grant writing cost?
See our grant services pricing package
5. How long does it take to write a grant proposal?
Depending on the complexity, it can take:
1 to 2 weeks for small/basic grants/Letter of Intent (LOI)
3 to 6 weeks for larger proposals
6. Do you help find grants?
Yes. We offer grant prospect research to identify suitable funding opportunities tailored to your project, mission, and geography.
7. Can You Guarantee Grant Approval?
No, we cannot guarantee that a grant will be approved — and no ethical grant writer should say yes. We can’t promise funding outcomes (because they depend on external funding decisions)
Grant approval depends on multiple factors beyond the quality of the proposal, such as:
The funder’s review based on their priorities and current focus
The level of competition (some grants receive hundreds of applications)
The available budget and number of grantees they plan to support
Your organization’s track record, capacity, and alignment with the funder’s mission
8. What Can We Guarantee?
A professionally written, customized, and compelling proposal
Alignment with funder guidelines and eligibility
Clear, measurable goals and budgets
Timely communication and submission ( before the deadline of funder)
9. What is a compelling proposal?
We tailor each proposal to match the funder’s specific goals, language, and priorities from the very first paragraph. We combine compelling storytelling with sound strategy, clearly showing the real-world impact of your work, supported by data, needs analysis, and measurable outcomes. Every proposal is written in a clear, concise, and persuasive style—free from jargon—making it easy for funders to understand. Finally, we strictly follow all formatting and submission requirements, delivering a professional, polished proposal that meets funder expectations.
